Call of Duty Ghosts Unofficial Soundtrack: The Songs That Should Be In COD

The Call of Duty Unofficial Soundtrack:
The Songs That Should Be In COD

Hello Noob,

There is still tons of leveling up to do, prestige-ing, and pwning noobs to not have a melodic soundtrack to be your care package. The fast paced multiplayer is still coming out with DLC as we speak with new guns, new maps, and even added movie monsters (Michael Meyers, Predator) to add to the slaughter. You're gonna need reinforcements here, so throw that marker and expect an incoming of intense music that will get you some serious kill streaks. I've been playing music with COD multiplayer for years now, and yes it's harder to hear footsteps, but who cares if you're running around with a shotgun or knife right? There is not much of music except the initiating pump up music and the Victory (sometimes losing) ballad at the end so lets jam pack as much chaotic tunes as we can right into the thick of the warfare!

Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Free For All, whatever you are playing...

Here are my picks:

Skrillex Bangarang is the headliner to this soundtrack mainly because it truly IS the chaotic game play, with bullets of intensity at every drop. Skrillex is known to be sporadic and chaotic and Bangarang is a great track to mirror Call Of Duty's multiplayer.
There are a few Skrillex's honorable mentions to this soundtrack that I nearly picked instead of Bangarang; the first being Kill Everybody with an obvious nod to killing as many people that are not your teammates, a good FFA track. As well as Try It Out where the song (in earlier stages of production) actually is in the previous game on the Black Ops 2 map "Plaza" and in the club scene in the campaign.

Deadmau5 Some Chords is a fantastical escalating adrenaline rush, while running through the maps your vision will jump up and down with this beat in sync. Taking out enemies and swiftly moving to the next is what this song is all about. NEXT!

30 Seconds To Mars Conquistador will rip you right into killing as many baddies as possible. I always liked to think of me kicking open a door dual wielding semi auto pistols and getting a serious kill streak.

Phuture Doom's Han Breaks reminds me of being the last person alive and having to survive and make your way out of a firefight, or who knows maybe zombies?

Linkin Park Lies Greed Misery makes me want to trash talk as many people as I can and then DESTROY them. Or destroy someone who was talking smack, or generally talking way to much, or someone talking at all.

Daft Punk's Derezzed is all about flashy style and doing things as wildly unnecessary as possible, such as slides, dives, or drop shots.

Dark Souls II 2 Unofficial Soundtrack: The Songs That Should Be In Dark Souls II

    Dark Souls II Unofficial Soundtrack:

The Songs That Should Be In Dark Souls II

    Hello undead wanderer,

This is my second post that leads to your inevitable death in Dark Souls II (this playlist can easily work for Dark Souls, and Demon Souls as well). In this game there is very little music which leads you to this blog where I make specific playlists that act as an unofficial soundtrack to the game. I do suggest you listen to the original dark souls II soundtrack especially for bosses, but once you have, tune in on this playlist. The songs I pick have the similar theme of tension, wonder, and intensity of Dark Souls 2. Knowing you will spend well over ten hours (easily) on this journey I picked songs that can be repeated and not get old, and hopefully every time you hear these tracks they remind you of your pain and suffering, as well as your wonderment and feeling of success. Whether you like to swing great swords, or just souped up broadswords, these songs will help you strengthen your attributes and make grinding less tedious.

    What to do:
    1. Start up Dark Souls and get into the gameplay
    2. Find a nice quiet place and go into your menu/ go to Options/
    3. TURN OFF "music volume"
    4. Play the Unofficial Dark Souls II Soundtrack
    5. enjoy.
suggestion: play the game while listening and not watch the music videos.

    Here are my picks:

All tracks have a beautifully easy replay ability for this long game which is a reason for each choice.

Coldplay's Midnight is seriously the creme dela creme of this soundtrack, it is beautiful and is subtle enough to play in the background or out front and loud. The song embodies the terrifyingly gorgeous world of dark souls, with its dark cave areas all the way through to the mystifying castles of Drangleic. A dynamic song for a dynamic game.

Grimes track Genesis displays more of the creepier side of dark souls. Where NPCs are talking about wanting to kill their old friend, or the strange grimness of a lot of their lives and advice. All around great song to be added to the Dark Souls experience.

Broke for free's Note Drop is a good background melody that is pleasing to open crates to, as well as exploring.

Angels & Airwaves Reel 1 (Diary) is an emotional trip that has a lot of the dynamic parts as Midnight, but the tone switches halfway. The beginning is awesome for exploring and looting, where the end is all about combat. Intense situations may lead while listening to this track.

Chad Valley's Fast Challenges is a perfect track to explore to with its airy vocals and catchy tunes. More of a background tune, but will lead to plentiful chests and drops.

Tycho's Elegy is a perfect track that is good for tweaking menu items especially at bonfires. The song reminds me a lot of Majula because of its very mellow aura that emanates through the song. It's best enjoyed in a calm environment.

    Unofficial Game Soundtrack Idea

    Unofficial Game Soundtrack Idea:

Songs that should be in the games

The goal is simple: have awesome music for games that may not have enough licensing money for better music, and choose songs to listen to while playing.

The tracks will be 100% hand selected for each game making the playlists even more specialized and interesting than what the game already has.

I’m excited to start this and hope I can get some interest to make this a well-known blog!

If you like the picks remember to share and comment on what you liked or songs that you think would be a great addition to each game, I'll review them and possibly add them if I think they are a good fit!

    Play on.
